  How much help do you, me, or a young person need with LEMS?

  I enjoy reading Lori Dunham’s column, Stretcher-Bearers, learning more and more about their story. I’m old, but Lori and Grace’s story revolves around a young person with LEMS. This is all about the dynamics of care between a parent and a young person, still maturing. From a LEMS patient’s perspective, how much assistance do I need from a caregiver? We are all prideful and enjoy our independence, as much as possible.
