  LEMS and using a Parking Permit, Flash Briefing

  Recently, visiting a fellow LEMS patient, we used her Handicapped Parking Permit. It certainly helped shorten the walks we faced, especially in a couple of crowded parking areas. I don’t have one myself, but I’ve considered getting one. My LEMS has been getting worse in the last year, so I’m considering getting one now. It will be a discussion with neurologist later this month. Many LEMS patients have more difficulty walking than me, so a Handicapped Parking Permit could make life much easier.
