Five years ago after 8 months of investigation and spending 8 days in the neurological wing of Southampton hospital I was finally diagnosed with LEMS.  At this time I was having to use a wheel chair or crutches.  Prescribed medication which I take every 4 hours and am able to live a relatively normal life.
