I recently went to a new ophthalmologist at UT Southwestern. He was referring me to Oculoplastics to get my drooping eyelids fixed. He just wanted to do the labs to rule out MG. Well, it came back from the Mayo Clinic with high P/Q Type Calcium Channel Ab…you all know the rest of the story. Waiting for appointments & referrals to even get a CT and/or PET scan. I am a former smoker, do understand that many times LEMS rears its ugly head before cancer, however I have been having symptoms for approximately 6 years now. I am pretty concerned about the cancer aspect of this disease. Anyhoo…that’s where I am sitting right now…hurry up and wait! I am so grateful to have stumbled across this forum!!
