    Good morning,

What advice would you give to those who are newly diagnosed with LEMS?

What has helped you the most in your opinion?

Mine would be to remain positive, which I know can be hard to do especially in times like these. There is always something to be thankful for. I like to focus on the positive aspects and try to keep the negativity to a minimum. The first year I was diagnosed, I was angry at the world and often vented to others. The next year I realized how negative I had been and decided to make a conscious effort to remain positive, I noticed that I started feeling a lot better. Your mindset really affects both your emotional and physical well being and the difference was huge for me! I keep a gratitude journal and write down at least two (usually 5) things each morning I am thankful for.

Look forward to hearing from you guys!
