Cheering on our LEMS community
Community is important to those of us with rare diseases, especially with our “ultra-rare” disease- Lambert- Eaton Syndrome.
In @lorildunhams most recent column, she talks about how socializing within our community has been a blessing!
She brings up that she cheers for all of us when we are able to meet milestones, do things we enjoy, and sometimes even get back some aspects of our life “pre-LEMS.”
Personally, I think it’s really important that we stick together and be there to cheer each other on!
I know I have some cheerleaders in the LEMS community. What about you?
Don’t forget that @pricewool and I are all of your cheerleaders!
Have you guys done anything recently that you are proud of? Is there anything we can help you celebrate?
Let us know!!
