  Contemplating a Medi-Port? Here’s what one looks like!

  They say a picture is worth a thousand words……so here you go.  If you’re thinking about getting a port for ongoing LEMS infusions, here is mine, in place after my first day infusion.  The port was opened, used, flushed with saline, locked with heparin, and capped until tomorrow’s use.  After that it will be removed, and literally, all it needs is a Bandaid to go home with.  If you have any questions, please ask.
