  Have you tried Aquatic Therapy?

  Good morning my fellow LEMons! 

   

  Lori Dunham recently posted a column about how swimming has helped her daughter Grace with her LEMS.

  Recently, I joined a club that is a group of women who take pictures underwater as mermaids. 

  I hadn’t swum in a pool in quite some time. I was quite nervous that the extra exercise would flare my LEMS. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Of course, I wasn’t swimming laps in the pool or anything, but I did swim across the deep end a couple of times.

  Being in the water is definitely therapy for me, and I find movement so much easier in the water.

  Have you ever tried aquatic therapy?

  If so, did you feel that it helped you?
