    Approximately 50% of the time, LEMS is a precursor to a cancer diagnosis. The tumor is what activates the antibodies attacking the calcium channels. How long before your cancer was found?

    I think it was only a month. The doctor who finally figured it out was a resident doctor fom England.

    Linda, I’m sorry that you were diagnosed with SCLC, but glad to hear that it sounds like they caught it early!
