Be alert for the unusual, post IVIG
I’ve been on IVIG for a good while now. Maybe you have too. We pretty much have the routine down and know that each infusion can be a little bit different. But what if you notice something “really different”? I recently read of someone, post infusion, having unexpected abdominal pain, nausea, and dark red urine. A few infusions ago, I had an unexpectedly strong flu-like reaction. Stuff happens. I hope you will be alert for the especially unusual, out of the norm, medical issues post IVIG, and take action to get a medical opinion quickly.
