Did you know nightmares can predict flares?
Hey all!
If you’ve been able to attend our monthly LEMS Zoom socials, you have probably heard a few of us talking about having vivid nightmares.
Recently an article was shared with me that correlates having nightmares to predicting flares in autoimmune disease. The article specifically studied patients with Lupus, but it seems it affects autoimmune disease.
Do any of you suffer from nightmares?
The cause is currently unknown but I would love to learn more about what signals the brain to “produce” these nightmares, and hope in the future we will get more answers about how this works.
