Fatigue in LEMS can be unpredictable.

Some days you might feel more exhausted than others, or you might have periods of “good” energy, followed by sudden crashes.

This inconsistency can be hard for others to understand, so make sure to explain that it’s not always something you can control.

Explaining LEMS-related fatigue to friends and family is an ongoing conversation.

The more they understand, the better they can support you in a meaningful way.

Help them recognize that your fatigue is real, and by opening up about your experiences, you can build a stronger support network to navigate the ups and downs of life with LEMS.

    Very unpredictable, always!

I have had 6 days of feeling great followed by do nothing days.

Taking Firdapse and mestinon(180mg) always, Every 3 hours from 6am to 6 pm, 20 mg firdapse and at 9 am daily (1) 180 mg mestinon.

I have heard LEMS is not progressive like MS but symptoms do change. Weakness, fatigue and brain fog seem to be my regular symptoms.

      Hey @Tom sharpe

I also feel that my fatigue can be unpredictable! I’ve also been told that LEMS is not progressive, although sometimes it really seems like it is. The brain fog and fatigue are the symptoms that are most bothersome to me as well! I have been going to the chiropractor and that seems to have helped slightly with the brain fog! Wish I could find something that would get rid of it all together.
