Does your LEMS cause brain fog?
Brain fog is a common but often overlooked symptom for people living with Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS).
It’s a feeling of mental confusion or lack of clarity that can affect your ability to concentrate, remember things, or think clearly.
While brain fog is not a formal medical term, it accurately describes the cognitive difficulties many LEMS patients experience.
This can include difficulty concentrating, memory lapses, trouble processing information, slower thinking, and feeling “spaced out” or mentally exhausted even after minimal effort.
I find my brain fog to come and go and usually gets worse throughout the day, especially if I have a busy day or am stressed out.
Do you struggle with brain fog as well?
