    Hey all! šŸ™‚

Have you ever taken a bath with Epsom salts?Ā

If so, how did you feel after?

Did you know that Epsom salt contains magnesium which is a known trigger for LEMS and Myasthenia Gravis?

Other foods that are high in magnesium include:

    • Soybeans
    • Dark chocolate
    • Peanut butter
    • Buckwheat
    • Spinach
    • Sunflower seeds
    • Lima and Mung Beans

Iā€™m not saying you have to completely avoid these foods, I enjoy most of them. But I do think you need to be mindful of how much you consume and monitor yourself and be on the lookout if a flare should occur.

The effects of magnesium can be as severe as causing respiratory failure and needing a ventilator! Usually, in this case, respiratory failure is brought on by magnesium replacement which is given through an IV.

Have you for any reason used magnesium and experienced an adverse reaction?Ā

What have your health professionals mentioned to you about taking it?
