Stay Vigilant!
Last week, Lori Dunham’s “Stretcher Bearers” column was a good reminder to “Stay Vigilant” as most of us have some degree of immune suppression.
Covid is “long gone” at least it seems that way, even though some of us with LEMS (myself including) are still adjusting to the “Long hauler “ symptoms of COVID.
BUT that doesn’t mean the threat of another illness isn’t there. Just this week, two of my coworkers have tested positive for COVID once again. A reminder that although the majority of the population is “safe,” we aren’t necessarily.
So my question to you all is this:
Are you still taking precautions to keep yourself safe (from COVID or any other contagious infection)?
Lori also mentioned that her daughter Grace battled COVID a second time.
Has anyone been diagnosed with COVID more than once?
Has anyone been diagnosed with “Long Haul syndrome?” If so, how is this affecting your LEMS?
