    Hello Ashley,

I too see Dr Kelly Gwathmey at VCU. She is the 2nd Neurologist I’ve seen after I was misdiagnosed at Riverside and Dr Livingston recommended her. I took my oldest son with me for the 2nd opinion, she quickly redid my EMG test, finding VGCC was the issue. I asked my son what he thought about Dr Kelly and his reply was, I think she is the Sheldon Cooper of Neurologist. Good luck in your endeavors.

Just a heads up Price, I saw my Neurologist a couple of weeks ago and after further discussion I (we) decided to stop the Infusions, didn’t feel any different before or after treatments and ween off the Prednisone and start Cellcept. Hopefully this course will allow same mobility, if not better, and try to get back to my somewhat normal weight.

Started noticing mobility issues around Dec 2018, came back home to work and noticed that I needed to use both railings to climb stairs, so off to the Doctors I went. I was diagnosed in the fall of 2019, after 6 or 7 months of multiple Doctors, MRI’s, EMG’s, X-Rays,
