Depression Help for LEMS Patients, an Event
It’s Monday! We start a fresh week, and my infusions start Wednesday so it should be a good one! BUT. We are all aware that LEMS patients are more susceptible than the general population to depression and in turn suicide. It’s that way with all chronic, debilitating disorders. It’s understandable, and more so in this pandemic, where social interactions are difficult. The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation works to provide suicide prevention training and funds research on depression. They are holding a 7th Annual one day virtual event, Bring the Conversation to Light, on Wednesday, November 18th. You can learn about it and register here:
