Have you considered Occupational Therapy?
Recently on a Facebook group, I was touched by someone new to LEMS, suffering much anguish about what they could do after their diagnosis. A LEMS diagnosis is life-altering. Finding ways to adapt and plan your life after experiencing LEMS symptoms is a major part of coping with the disorder.
“LEMONS Make LEMONADE.” A friend gifted me this little sign as a reminder. It’s what we must do!
My recommendation to this person was to consider having some sessions with an OT, or Occupational Therapist.
Here’s an article on LEMS and OT.
