Self care for caregivers (and us too)
Hey all! Happy humpday! We’ve made it halfway through the week!
This week, @lorildunham‘s article “Seasonal Changes Remind Me to Take Care of Myself,” touched on an important subject for us with LEMS along with those who care for us or others with LEMS (or any chronic condition).
What is self care for you?
Like Lori, the beach is always a source of comfort for me. Just stepping onto the sand is therapy for my soul. I’ve even added listening to “ocean sounds” into my nightly bedtime routine because its one of the few things that helps me relax and turn my brain off.

Going for ride looking at all the trees turning bright yellow, orange and red. It flls my heart full of joy

I love that too! I visited my best friend last weekend who lives in Shenandoah and it was stunning!
