As LEMS patients, are are a part of the 20% of the population that is at more of a risk with COVID-19.

I have been watching, reading and absorbing a lot of information in the last week. I will share my thoughts on COVID-19 in next week’s LEMme Tell ya. Thankfully, the Muscular Dystrophy Association has released their guidelines during these trying times as a patient with neuromuscular disease. Pay particular attention to the “What to do if you are sick” section, please.

Maine just had it’s first diagnosed patient with COVID-19. The state epidemiologist gave a great description of what a virus does:”It’s JOB is to find other warm bodies to replicate in.”

COVID-19 is an over achiever. The only way to protect yourself right now is by doing social distancing- avoiding large groups and only going out for necessities.  I’m planning on doing a lot of cleaning of closets and organizing right now. Have you changed any of your daily activities because of COVID-19?
