  What does FIRDAPSE do for you LEMS exactly? How did it help you?

  Firdapse was the first LEMS specific med approved by the FDA. Neurologists now have a go-to med for LEMS, known to increase the amount of acetylcholine in the neuromuscular junction by blocking the potassium channels.  What does that mean exactly? For those on Firdapse, what does it do for you?
